ANNOUNCING THE FUNERAL SERVICES EXHIBITION
ONLINE
As part of the ongoing development of SAIF Trade we
are pleased to announce the launch of the Funeral Services
Exhibition: a highly innovative idea for the twenty
first century.
The Funeral Services Exhibition is the first of its
kind. An online, permanent exhibition where suppliers
can showcase their products and services to trade customers
and funeral directors can find out what’s new
without having to travel long distances.
Whilst we are very aware that a large part of funeral
service isn’t engaged with the worldwide web we
are proud to have launched this initiative and believe
the new exhibition will go from strength to strength
in coming years.

ANNOUNCING YET ANOTHER GREAT NEW IDEA FROM SAIF
– THE INNOVATIVE TRADE ASSOCIATION IN FUNERAL
SERVICE
We are pleased to announce the 2008-2009 series of
SAIF Road show events for funeral directors, trade suppliers,
bereavement professionals, members of kindred organisations
and perhaps most innovatively of all – interested
members of the public.
These events will be multi faceted with an exhibition
open to the public for those suppliers promoting innovative
new products and services, as well as a trade show only
area for the more traditional suppliers. During the
day seminars and workshops on relevant, topical subjects
will be run, both for the professionals and also for
the public. The end of the day will culminate in the
SAIF regional meeting for each area. We are determined
to keep costs down for these events for everyone. Unlike
other exhibition based events, transparency will be
the name of the game, with no large event surpluses
being made, just costs covered by exhibitors. Each event
will be ringfenced financially with all participants
being kept fully informed. The intention is that no
charge will be made for professional delegates and visiting
members of the public.
We are currently talking to kindred bereavement service
organisations about promoting these events to their
membership. We believe that these events will really
move the concept of bereavement service organisations
working together forward and will also give SAIF and
SAIF Trade members a unique opportunity to promote themselves
to the outside World. We will be using the local and
National media to promote these events.

are being sourced and further details will be circulated
widely as soon as they are available:

We know that these events will reinforce our strength
in dealing with independent funeral directors at a local
level. No ivory towers for us, just a great deal of
getting out and about throughout the UK helping all
of our members in real practical terms. To register

NATIONAL FUNERALS EXHIBITION 2009
Following our stunning success at NFE 2007 we are pleased
to confirm that we will be there at Stoneleigh in June
